I don't know if this is allowed or if it's the right place, but, I just finished Crossroads of Twilight last night and was going to get Knife of dreams today but my local bookstore doesnt carry it.  Now I'm kinda mad because I really wanted to read on.  I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that I could read the book online until the bookstore can order it in for me?

I do not know of any place where the KoD can be read from an online source. However, over at

http://encyclopaedia-wot.org/books/kod/index.html

You can read good summaries of the prologue and each chapter of the book. Also, if you can, then I suggest buying Knife of Dreams from amazon.com and you can get it shipped to your house in about a week's time, or less. :)

Like another poster told, the bookstore might be able to order for you.

If you saw the book at the store in the past, the bookstore would probably order new copies of it without you having to place an order for it.

Generally a bookstore having some of a series would mean that they would order the rest eventually; though I am not entirely certain.

You might also check at other bookstores.

I once found a small used bookstore that didn't have what I wanted, but ordered it for me from Amazon on their own account because I didn't have a debit/credit card at the time.  Maybe you could find a store like that or maybe you could have a friend order it for you...

If there are any websites having KOD (or any other books by RJ) available for reading, they are illegal, and posting such links here is not allowed.

Another way to get the book might be to buy a gift card at a store then use that gift card to buy the book through the store's website.

This is possible with Barnes & Nobel, probably with also other national stores.
