Okay I couldn't find a thread about this in the past couple pages so I figured I'd make a new one.

 

The latest season of House has been interesting to say the least. If you don't want spoilers, then stop reading.

 

 

 

So having Kutner die was of course, ZOMG WOW. And now it seems that the effect is that House is having visions of Amber. Odd, yes. I was talking to someone about this and they were like "well it sucked because they didn't show the effect that Kutner dying had on the characters" and I was seeing that they did - its like a life goes on, but the small things are whats affected. Now, we have a HUGE impact on House, since, unlike the others, he didn't accept the death or grieve appropriately like the others did at the end of the suicide ep.

 

The psychological stuff is turning out to be quite awesome :)

I can be bothered to tape this for some reason but USA reruns the show and I am just getting into it.  I have no idea what season I am in... but since that doesn't really matter for a show that is mostly episodic I am content.

I have to say some of the medical stuff is stretched - detox in like one night, come on.

 

But man, House + Cuddy = RAWR!

They give someone anti-biotics and in 20 minutes their heart condition, failing organs are all instantly cured and they can go home? Yea.... So its no stretch for them that detox lasts 1 night.

 

I dunno about you but the show seems to be getting further and further away from 'science' if that makes any sense... I seem to recall the first seasons, each episode would spand a few weeks instead of a couple of days, with patients progressively getting better/worse, and the 'cures' takeing a couple of days instead of hours to figure out...

Look I enjoy house, I'm not choosing to be pedantic with the details of the science, it's just like when you have those series's you love but they have dodgy special effects. You can look past alot if you like the show

I would love that the first diagnosis House gives would be right instead of him taking 3-4 guesses to get it right. 

 

I really liked the Amber plot line and the Cuddy hookup was good. 

 

Yeah... USA has really caught me up.  I have no idea what seasons I am watching but the marathon today will get me much closer to watching all the episodes.

I knew there was something off about his detox - I just kept wondering what the eff was up with it.

The end was epic, can't wait for next season.

I just watched the Kutner episode....this sucks.  He was the best character.  Him peeing on House's chair to get back at him for the Cranberry juice was the funniest thing in the entire series.

Just finished House.  What a creepy episode, and poor Cuddy.  I'm just jealous of Chase's honeymoon ;)
