BSG: Caprica to DVD before TV

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced that "Caprica", the pilot for the anticipated "Battlestar Galactica" prequel spin-off, will premiere on DVD April 21st.

 

The feature-length prequel will be available on DVD as a limited-edition uncut and unrated version before the series' broadcast premiere on the SCI FI Channel in 2010.

 

The film will also be available at selected online destinations for digital download transactions. The release comes a month after the final episode of "Galactica" goes to air on March 20th.

Iono if I like this idea, seems like a cash grad punch-in-the-fans-junk maneuver... I'm not sure if Caprica even sounds all that interesting. Thanks for the info though!
