Authentic Jordan Autograph?

I just recently got what appears to be a first edition of "A Crown of Swords" with Jordan's autograph on the title page.  Any suggestions for how I can tell if the signature is real?

 

Also, the book is a misprint that is missing one section of about 30 pages from the publisher.  If it is genuine, any idea of value?
