Alivia + 13x2 + Perrin

Disclaimer: This is not an actual theory, since I do not believe this will actually happen. It is more of a musing and a What if-scenario.

 

So, one of the mysteries we are waiting for is just how and why Alivia will help Rand die.  Imagine this scenario rolling out...

 

Rand and his entourage visits the Borderland army out looking for him. Initially, everything goes well, he meets the nobles, talks a bit about his plan and all that stuff.

Enter the 13 Aes Sedai in the camp, who for good reasons are suspected to be Black Ajah. Now, what do we know about the special thing about the number 13 when it comes to channelers? Oh right, they can, with the assistance of 13 myrdraal forcibly turn someone to the Shadow. Ok, so this is exactly what happens, Rand gets turned. When this is discovered by Rands entourage, fighting starts. And it does not go well for them. Until the joker comes into play, Perrin. The guy who is destined to help Rand one more time from women who can channel. This arrival turns the tide enough for Rand to be captured and shielded, and the 13 BA to be killed.

 

This is where Alivia steps in. In this case, killing Rand would truly be helping him die, since Rand on the Shadows side would mean that the Light is royally screwed.

 

But as I saifd in the beginning, this is just a musing, and not something I actually think will happen. It would be kinda cool though. ;D

I would be too if I were in his place.  I hate fan fiction.  It just never comes close to capturing the original tone of the story.

Alivia will help him die so he will survive....this is a mysterium :)

 

Will Rand realy die? Or is it the old Rand mind that dies? Min Farshaw did se him "merging" with another man in one of her visions. Who is that man? Lews Therin Telamon? If its so, will he do that, with aid from Alivia, and "Kill" the old Rand and make a "new" Rand with merged mind with Lews Therin Telamon? A "new" rand with all of the Lews Therin Telamon memories and skills?

 

I dont think Rand will die, the profecy say that he will survive and live. The question is how? As we all know, the profecy dont say exactly what will happen...maby its not bodie that dies, maby it is the stubbern,cold,hard rand thats die.

In RJs, or any other writers for that matter, case, I do not think that fanfic not capturing the original spirit was that much of a deal. Rather that those who do fanfic are profiting (even if the profit is only E-peen) on the creation of others.

?? But how in the world does rand get close enough to 13 mydrayal, the BA compel ever person in the camp? There is also the fact that Rand is technicly a warder and can sense mydrayal a mile away, i think it is a stretch.

It does seem a stretch, but at the same time the 13 AS + 13 Mydrayal thing was introduced a few times, and hasn't been used in this age yet. Or maybe it has already been used, but was done so off screen.

You saying that just made me remember something, when Ewgene goes through the rings spouting nonsensical stuff about turning someone, Sheriam says in a whisper that it is possible, yaddda yadda yadda. The when Ewgene is taken by Liandrin she says "Something involving 13 mydrayal."... And then Sheriam is interrogated in the camp of the rebels, any idea who it is? Its obviously one of the 13 BA or a forsaken.

With regrards to this....I believe Rand is already dead, at least the one we meet in the Two Rivers. Somehow, Alivia helps him find his old self and therefore is around to help raise his babies with Elayne and any he has with Avienda and Min
