Passchendaele

 

Most of you will never see this, however for those of you who do go out of your way to find it, its an incredible movie, that is based around events of the Great War, and more specifically, the 3rd battle of Ypres. More specifically, it is based around Canadian soldiers.

 

Now, it is something of a love story, and most of the movie shows events on the home front. However, the whole movie is well done, the cast worked well with each other, the battle scenes were easy to see and realistic.

 

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, and would highly recommend seeing it. If you can't see it at your local theatre (which many of you outside of Canada may well not be able to, I'm not sure on this) then rent it once its out on video.
