A Poll on A Memory of Light

My friend Pat asked me to relay news of this over here:

His website, Pat's Fantasy Hotlist, the biggest SF&F blog on the Internet, is running a poll to see if people think Brandon Sanderson will successfully pull off A Memory of Light, and end the series in a befitting manner. The current opinion seems to be pretty high in Sanderson's favour.

So, based on Sanderson's own work and the mountain of notes Jordan left behind, do you think he can successfully bring this huge series to a worthwhile conclusion? Check out the poll and comment here if you like.

My own opinion: yes. Whilst reading Elantris, I thought that Sanderson's style was not a million miles removed from Jordan's. Not as detailed, but then the story he was telling in that book (a single, small story contained in only one novel with just a few major characters) didn't call for it. I haven't read the Mistborn Trilogy yet, but I am told his style is much better. If that is the case, I think he will do a very fine job indeed.
