In the highly anticipated new installment of "The Terminator" film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

But it won't have Arnold Schwarzenegger in it so it isn't technically a Terminator movie then... :P

I've disliked all three terminator movies. (though 3 was at least saved by having my future wife Claire Danes in it)  Yet I think the storyline itself is interesting.  So I'm looking forward to this movie.  And the Governor of California not being in this movie is actually a selling point if you ask me.

I'm just thankful that he's busy enough taking care of my state that he can't be making a movie. At least, that's the reason I'm choosing to believe.  :P

 

I almost saw the trailer for this at Dark Knight yesterday, but they screwed up and it switched from T4 to some movie with Leo DiCaprio. I'm not a huge Terminator fan, but I liked T2 just fine, and am curious to see what T4 looks like.

but it has to have arnold in it... not even as a lead, even just a small cameo where the first model of his type is produced at the very end of the movie or something.
