Need to build a new RP circle of friends

It seems most of the evil doers I was rping have left and are not returning so this being said I need to build up my circle of friends again to RP with.

 

Cari is currently in Cairhein, outside of a small town called Fairhaven on the path to the Aiel Waste. (http://www.aliciawilkerson.com/matalina)

 

Cari can travel anywhere under various pretenses.  She avoids Tar Valon and probably Amadica at this point in time.  She is the head of a circle of darkfriends on the Rashad Ranch since their leader was killed.

well not sure he is suitable, but looking to stash a non df prisoner somewhere he could learn some figthing skills

 

he'd need to be kept in a way he couldnt figure out where he was though :S

 

the aim is to turn him to the shadow though he is less then willing (his mom is my dreadlady, he was taken from his fosterhome as a kid by a CoL, and she finaly refound him at age 14 and simply picked him up and took him away)

How would that work unless Eqwina was out and about traveling, Cari is not likely to go to Tar Valon unless you talk her into it and there is some advantage to going there for her lol.  Last time she was there she slept with two ppl, one to keep them quiet and the other just cause who is now her "boyfriend" lol.  She doesn't feel like TV is safe considering Matalina is dead to them.

 

Ata... What do you mean keep?  I understand the hiding part but do you want him locked up or free range prisoner under constant watch.  I don't have a problem with it but I just need to know what to do cause if he's locked up Cari won't teach him anything, as she's not actually nice to prisoners.  If he's a freerange one working the ranch but under watch then it's easy enough to teach him stuff.

 

Tigara ... Kin dancer? did I get that right?  That could pose some interesting rps as Cari doesnt' like channelers (but she is fond of women even though she prefers her relationships to be men lol - just clarifying that)

Yep, she's trained as a Dancer, and she doesn't like Aes Sedai in the least. (worked for the CoL). That could be very interesting indeed! ;D

Seeing as the char is grown up in CoL envirment and fiersly belive what he been thougth there he is not very cooperative with his darlings mothers wish of him serving the dark as she does. Young and hotheaded he is not overtly smart about it either, so leting him freerange wouldnt be an option, he need something with 4 walls keeping him put.

 

The last place he was is in Tar Valon under sirayn's impresonment as M'bela is highly protective of her kids safety and would not put an object treasured as such into hands that may betray her, in her odd mind she figured the standstill with the AS actualy in an odd way would make him safe due to his belives, and sira's personality. The plan now she is gone when i find something for him to do is have him escape, and then have his mom catch up with him again and keep him in safekeep somewhere else for a few years till he would be old enough to actualy join the CoL properly (he is only 14 so need to age him and fill in some history), and then have him manage to escape again.

 

The one thing he has inherited from his mom is his fierceness, so basicaly he is a very angry and hatefull young boy :P I figure training would be a way of stimulation based on mothers set up and wish, which pretty much would include him having the lessons beaten into him (ie cant do much damage with a lathe against someone with superior skill who can easily beat you off and basicaly tell you your errors, even with his reluctanse if nothing else then out of boredom and a hope that actualy improving will give him an opening he should manage to listen enough to learn the basics)

lol, well it sounds interesting.  I'd be willing to give it a shot, but Cari wouldn't really be a good teacher to a boy locked in a room lol.  Cari's a bit of a sadist and she enjoys torturing her prisoners so that's not something that would work.  BUT, we can start out that way and with enough "beatings" come to some sort of an argreement to let him roam a little bit. 

 

Cari can easily tie the boy to her, literally if necessary until her learns to behae properly.  And keep him locked up when he's not with her.

 

But here's a potential option.  What if during one of his escape attempts he stumbled on the Ranch and used it as a safe haven, but rumors through the darker circles tell the Ranch residents that the boy is of use to another Dreadlord so keep him in safety until a time later that she can come retreive him.  He thinks he's safe from whatever is chasing him but he's got that watchful eye on him that his mother wants.

As long as he was fully aware that runing was not an option...the moment he saw the tiniest chanse to do so he would run, also due to the ic logic and safety of the ranch, i'd rather he didnt know to much of the place and its location.

 

which also means that before he successfully run of i'll move him somewhere else so that he couldnt find his way back there ;) But rather it just melded into being one of many places he passed by through his years, i looked at the system and is going to talk to nynaeve, the ws system sort of different there, and i'll posible only need one directly ws related training thingy...though i am willing to help get things started again out there by keeping him some months there ic and spend some time rping with various chars who are interested.

Okay if you don't want him to know where the ranch is that's easy enough to handle.

 

Cari has a habit of saving those who she thinks are in trouble.  If a 14 year old boy were say running from the local authorities in Cairhein, Cari would probably take interest.  And if necessary find a way to be his so called alibi, thus saving him from the authorities and having it been mistaken identity.  She takes him to the ranch, but on the way before they leave the city he falls asleep in the saddle.  They travel in the dark and he doesn't wake till they are nearly at the ranch...

 

It's up to you hun, if you want him to be a prisoner instead of free will that's fine.  And weapons training doesn't have to be about spars and things, there is alot more to do than just weapons and if you want some sense beat in to him I think Cari could manage that.

ah lol dont forsee a problem with him geting there, he'd run of in TV but she has a family there who fostered her daugther, she can have them look keep an eye out for him secretly (she just cant place a 14 year old rabid boy in the care of 2 elderly people in TV the city of AS and trust it to go ok)

 

so she could know when he ran and localise him pretty easily, then from there on keep moving him every so often which eventualy can land him on the ranch

 

M'bela would know of the ranch, she been there before with intiates who rescived weapons training *s* so contact could have been established then

We can start it whenever you are ready to.  I however will not be around much this week and next week.  My parents are coming down next week and I have to clean my house in preparation this week.  Cleaning up after two toddlers is a full time job lol.  But I can get in a few posts this week if you want to get started sooner rather than later.

Just thought I'd drop in as well. My dark friend Sevrud is usually posted around Cairhein, although he does travel elsewhere and is more then able to get up to some mischief with someone else.
