OOC: Oookay sorry it took me forever to post these for you. *head desk* I had for some reason thought I had already done this for you.

IC:

"Rasheta, you are summoned to be tested for the shawl of an Aes Sedai. The Light keep you whole and see you safe." Rasheta took a deep breath and followed the Mistress of Novices down to the lower part of the Tower. She was led to the large set of double doors that were bigger then any of the other doors they had passed. The Mistress of Novices channeled and the door's opened. She walked into the room was impressed with the ter'angrel that was in front of her. Rasheta didn't let any of her emotion show as the Mistress of Novices began speaking.

"Attend." There were other Aes Sedai in the room one from each Ajah and they came and stood around the Mistress of Novices and Rasheta. "You come in ignorance, Rasheta. How do you wish to depart?" Rasheta gave the correct answer and Mistress of Novices continued, "For what reason have you been summoned here?" Rasheta answered a bit shakily all the sisters in the room would try and make her fail the test, but she did answer and the Mistress of novices continued. "For what reason should you be tried." Rasheta's voice was a bit steadier now and she just had to get through this. "For what would you be found worthy?" When Rasheta answered again and then began to disrobe, as was the next part of the custom, the Mistress of Novices waited for a moment and then continued with the custom "Therefore I will instruct you. You will see this sign upon the ground." She channeled and drew a six-pointed star, two overlapping triangles written in fire for an instant. She continued "When you see that sign, you will go to it immediately, at a steady pace, neither hurrying nor hanging back, and only then may you embrace the Power. The weaving required must begin immediately, and you may not leave that sign until it is completed." One of the sisters murmured,

"Remember what must be remembered." And the Mistress continued

"When the weave is complete, you will see that sign again, marking the way you must go, again at a steady pace, without hesitation."

"Remember what must be remembered" Rasheta took a deep breath and stepped into the arches.

Rasheta wondered why she was in Tear, she couldn't remember what she had been doing. She looked down at herself and found she wasn't wearing any clothes. She blushed but saw a six pointed star and so walked toward it. When she got half way there a handsome looking man walked out of one of the side streets and walked toward her. She ignored him and went to the star. When she got there she embraced the source and began to weave a ball of fire it was easy and she tried to ignore the fact that the young man was kissing her on her shoulders and was trying to turn her around to kiss her lips. She concentrated on the weave. She tied the weave off and then turned around to push the man away but he was gone. She looked around confused for a moment and then saw another six-pointed star not far from her and she walked toward it.

Rasheta found herself now in Andor in the Sun palace. Thankfully this time she was wearing clothes. She saw on the floor in front of four guards the six-pointed star she walked toward it and when the guards saw her they asked her to stop. She ignored them and continued walking. She had to push her way through the men to get to the star but she did and when she got there she embraced the source and pushed the men away from her with Air. She tied off that weave and then began her next weave. This one was harder and required all five of the powers. She slowly began to weave them all together she heard running feet and knew the men had called for help. She glanced away from her weave and used another thread of the power to use Air on the newcomers then she went back to her weave. It took her awhile to get through the weave because she had to keep pausing to tie up more guards. When she was done she went to release the men and found them to be all gone. She shrugged and looked around for the six-pointed star and found it she walked forward again.

She found herself now in what she thought had to be the Aiel Waste. She looked around her and saw on the hard packed earth the six pointed star. She walked toward it and saw a spear being thrown at her. She ducked it and felt like running for the star but the words of the other Aes Sedai rang in her head. Neither hurrying nor hanging back she walked on and came to the star. This was the weave to create an Earthquake she quickly started on this weave hoping to complete it before she was hurt by the Aiel who she could now see swarming toward her. They scared her but she was determined she would be Aes Sedai. She began to throw fire at the Aiel and try and complete her weave. She felt the ground shake soon and smiled she had done it. The Aiel were gone now and she moved on.

After doing this for what seemed like hours Rasheta knew she was almost done this was her last weave and she was in Illian. She had to make it rain if she could. She was fairly strong in water and thought she could do it. She looked around and saw the six pointed star and walked toward it. She wondered what would be thrown at her this time. She was dirty and tired. She got to the star and embraced the source and looked up at the clouds as she began to weave she felt pain start in her legs and the more she worked on the weave the worse the pain got. She felt the first drops of rain on her face and almost sagged with relief the pain stopped and she looked around and saw the last six-pointed star. She walked toward it and found herself back in the tower. She sagged with relief she had done it.

Rasheta spent the night after she had taken the test in her room thinking about her duties that she would take up on the morrow. The saying of the Aes Sedai was that it was a hard task to do but Rasheta was excited about it she was looking forward to wearing the Shawl. She was staring at the ceiling in her room when someone knocked on her door. She answered and a sister from each Ajah was waiting for her at the door. She was called to take her three oaths now and she knew it. She took a deep breath and followed the sisters from her room. When she was in one of the lower rooms she was stopped at the door and the Amrylin called out

" Who comes here?"

"Rasheta " she said

"For what reason do you come?"

"To swear the Three Oathes and thereby claim the shawl of Aes Sedai" she said firmly.

"By what right do you claim this burden?"

"By right of having made the passage, submitting myself to the will of the tower"

Rasheta was finally ready to enter the chamber and speak her Oaths. Not any regular oaths, mind you, Oaths as strong as blood and bone. Pride flushed through her body as she steadily walked forward, yet she kept her face smooth, and her gait graceful. At the entrance, she looked forward and met the eyes of the Amrylin, her striped stole draped regally about her shoulders. The Amyrlin's face was serene, and she stood in front of the oval ter'angreal that she had taken her test in the night previously. Out of the corner of her eye, Rasheta noticed the Sitters of the Hall with two extra Sisters from each ajah grouped and standing along the curved wall behind the Amyrlin.

Inside, Rasheta's emotions were in turmoil. Partly from relief, mostly from fear and anticipation. I have almost made it, it is almost over, she thought with pride, and then, and it is just beginning. Striding gracefully forward, however, she knew her face betrayed none of these thoughts. Walking through the ter'angreal, she made a straight path towards the Amyrlin, and knelt before her. Taking a long, ivory-seeming rod from a velvet cushion held by one of the Sisters, the Amrylin held it out towards her.

Raising her hands in front of her, the Rod was placed in palms. The glow of saidar surrounded the Amrylin, and she channeled a thin flow of Spirit and touched it to the ends of the ivory rod. This is it, she thought, I have dreamed about this moment, but it seems so unreal. Grasping the Rod in her hands, Rasheta lifted it up and began to speak.

“Under the Light and by my hope of salvation and rebirth,” she intoned as instructed, “I vow that I will speak no word that is not true.” Her eyes wanted to widen as the oath settled into her. “Under the Light and by my hope of salvation and rebirth, I vow that I will make no weapon for one man to kill another.” Holding steady as the pressure of the oath tightened around her, she took a breath before speaking her third and final vow. “Under the Light and by my hope of salvation and rebirth, I vow that I will never use the One Power as a weapon except against Shadowspawn, or in the last extreme of defending my life or that of my Warder or another sister.”

“It is half done, and the White Tower is graven on your bones,” The Amrylin said, “Rise now, Aes Sedai, and choose you Ajah, and all will be done that may be done under the Light.” Preventing a gasp from escaping her lips, Rasheta rose stiffly to her feet, curtsied to the Amyrlin and kissed her golden Great Serpent ring. Without hesitating, she turned and began walking towards the Sisters clad in elegant shawls with Green fringes draping from their elbows. Happier than she had been in a long while, she walked as steadily as she could under the constraint of the oaths, and kept her face smooth from emotion. She had come home.

Jaydena wrapped her hair around into a complicated style and secured the auburn mass on her head with several sword shaped hair pins. They were fiting for her ajah, being the battle ajah and all, and stuck out at different angles from her head. The truely wonderful thing about them was that some of them were weapons and had killing poison in them or were small weapons for stabbing. They had been presents from her raising to Aes Sedai long ago, and she had woven a keeping to keep them from falling apart of the years. She quickly applied kohl to her eyes and color to her lips and then stepped into her dress. A deep green satin with the Aes Sedai symbol embroidered in silver along the bodice, which was a scooped neck. The waistline was high and around it she wore a belt that her warder had given her many years ago. He had been from a noble family and had liked to spread his money around, especially on her. She felt a twinge of regret at would have been and pushed the thought from her mind as she clipped the silver links, each link was shapped like a rose and had a rose shapped ruby inside it, along with leaf shapped emeralds. Around her neck she wore a matching necklace, a bracelet gleamed from her wrist, and earrings dangled from her ears.

She didn't often get dressed up in full Aes Sedai gear, she much preferred spending time around her quarters in her bare feet these days but the ceremony called for it. Sliding her feet into green walking slippers with the same design she hooked the shawl around her shoulders that declared her ajah. The long green fringe hung nearly to the floor and the ivy leaves shone in the candlelight. It wasn't quite daylight yet and as was the custom, this young woman would swear her oaths as the sun glinted over distant Dragonmount. Jade looked around her and then left the room, she checked her outter rooms to make sure everything was in order and then headed from her quarters. She set the wards behind her and walked to the chamber where the ceremony would take place.

The Halls had been cleared as was long time custom for a oath swearing, dating back to the days when the women had to come to their Ajah in only what the Creator gave them. She smiled at the thought and opened the door to the chamber, she walked inside and took her place with the other Green Sitters. It wasn't long before, everyone was in place and the young woman, this one named Rasheta stepped into the chamber and prepared to swear her oaths to the Tower. Jade had heard this one would choose Green but she hadn't yet met her and time would tell how she handled the coming hardships. When it was done, Rasheta did in fact walk towards them, as the other Ajahs faded away, Jade spoke, "So you have chosen the Green Ajah my dear. Please follow me and we will get started with what is to come." She turned and led the way from the room. Making her way quickly through the Halls, they reached the Green quarters. The white tiles glinted with their green borders and their swords carved into the sword with green hilts. Tapestries took up space on several of the walls and Jaydena wondered what the young woman thought as she walked through these Halls.

The very Halls echoed with the history they had seen, many times as she had walked them, she had wondered about the ajah members that came before her. The great sisters that had fought and died to protect these Halls and all those that lived outside them. There were times where she didn't fell worthy to follow in their footsteps but follow in them she did. She led the way to her office and the other Sitters followed her in, taking positions on either side of her desk. They turned to face Rasheta and Jaydena took her seat behind the large desk. "Rasheta, you have chosen the Green Ajah, I am it's Captain General and one of it's Sitters. Why have you chosen the Green as your Ajah Sister."

"So you have chosen the Green Ajah my dear. Please follow me and we will get started with what is to come."

Rasheta lifted her head high and followed Jaydena and the other sitters from the room and down the halls to the Green Quarters she had heard the Greens were different then the other Ajahs when they first recived a new Aes Sedai. Rasheta was not afraid however, and whatever they wanted from her she would be willing to give. Jaydena took her into one of the Greens rooms and turned to face her.

"Rasheta, you have chosen the Green Ajah, I am it's Captain General and one of it's Sitters. Why have you chosen the Green as your Ajah Sister."

Rasheta eyed Jaydena for a moment she was young she knew and Jaydena had been an Aes Sedai for a long time but Rasheta had been through a lot in her life and while she knew that these Greens would try and intimadate her she had no intention of allowing that to happen. She was Aes Sedai now and no one could take that from her. She looked Jaydena in the eyes as she spoke.

"The Green Ajah is the only one that I feel would be able to be close to my own ideals and my own self." She wasn't sure if that was a good enough explination so she continued still looking at the Captain General. "You have not told me I am accepted into the Ajah and yet I already feel at home." She wondered if Jaydena had been told of the many Greens who had spent time with her. The Aes Sedai had all known she would end up as one of the Battle Ajah and most of the other sisters left her to her busniess, that is when she wasn't in classes or teaching other Novices. She tilted her head to the side and asked in a calm voice.

"How would you explain the feeling of coming home?"

Jaydena waited calmly for her answer, knowing what was coming, in some way used it and in other ways still dreading the final aftermath of the event.  “The Green Ajah is the only one that I feel would be able to be close to my own ideals and my own self. You have not told me I am accepted into the Ajah and yet I already feel at home." The young sister paused for a moment and then continued,  "How would you explain the feeling of coming home?" Jaydena arched an eyebrow and considered Rasheta. This was the first time she had been asked that question, in her many years as ajah head, she also had not heard it asked of any other ajah head while she had been Sitter. “I would say I would feel much as you do, however while your reasons are just and sound you are not yet a Sister of the Battle Ajah. From this day forward you will be an Initiate of the Green Ajah, you will have a set of rooms which will not be your final quarters, you will take classes in Battle Weaves and such things as how to be a Battle Sister. When you are deamed worthy you will go before the ajah and they will decide your fate, at that point you will either become a Battle Sister or continue your training until you are ready. To the rest of the Tower you will appear as a full fledged sister of the Green and you are to represent your as such. You will tell no one of your status as this is a secret known only to those who are part of the Greens. I personally will see to some of your training and I am sure that it won’t be long before you are standing before the Greens. At this time I will take your on a tour of the Green quarters so that you may meet your future Sisters. Remember that being part of this Ajah is not a right it is a privelage that we all sacrafise for every single day of our lives. Do you have any questions.”

She waited silently for Rasheta’s response, she had seen women scream, cry, laugh, and even try and kill themselves at this point. She was fully prepared for anything and had already readied herself to embrace the source. It wouldn’t do to appear weak in front of this woman but she also couldn’t afford to let her guard down. You never knew how someone would react in these situations, they had fought for years to be raised to Aes Sedai and now they were being told that they couldn’t join the Ajah they could chosen until they proved themselves. She had gone through the same thing herself, and while she understood the reasons for the time honored tradition, she couldn’t say she had been happy about it in any way, shape, or form.

Rasheta stood a little straighter and nodded her head. This was yet another thing she would have to overcome. She was not going to leave and let the Ajah try. She added to Jaydena when it appeared she was waiting for an answer. "As you say Aes Sedai, so it shall be. I will do whatever is needed and I will work hard." She thought for a long moment as to if she had any questions and then she said.

"I believe Jaydena that all my questions will be answered in the time where I am being made into a Green. I am ready to start whenever you and those in the Ajah are." She smiled as best she could trying not to wince or grimace. She wanted to be a full Green more then anything and if she couldn't make the Ajah like her she wasn't sure what she would do.

Jaydena watched as the girls spine grew even stiffer, it was surprising that she could could any straighter, but she did. She waited for her to attack but saw the acceptance in her eyes and quickly relaxed. "As you say Aes Sedai, so it shall be. I will do whatever is needed and I will work hard. I believe Jaydena that all my questions will be answered in the time where I am being made into a Green. I am ready to start whenever you and those in the Ajah are." Jaydena smiled at the woman in response and hoped that the two of them would become friends one day. She liked to get along with everyone in her Ajah if possible and it wasn’t always easy when she was the one that had to deliver the news to them. Jade gained her feet and nodded at her each of her Sisters in dismissal, they returned her nods, and then left the room. She stepped towards Rasheta and spoke, “You will now meet each of the Sisters in your Ajah who are currently within the Tower, then we will head to your temporary quarters, tomorrow you will start your Battle Weaves classes and the other things you need to be a Green. Please follow me Rasheta Sedai.” She opened the door to her office and stepped out into the hallway, hoping that this girl was a strong and willing as she appeared to be, for she would need to be if she made it into their Ajah…
