I would like to make a proposal to the general assembly of male channelers associated with the Black Tower:

 

UNDERSTANDING that this competition has always been called the Shockwave Game competition;

 

REALIZING that few games these days are developed with Macromedia Shockwave, and that Macromedia Flash has taken the lead;

 

OBSERVING that non-Shockwave games are often submitted to the Shockwave game competition, including one that was entirely text-based (Archspace);

 

CONSIDERING that popular online games are developed in a multitude of formats, including Flash, Shockwave, Java, and even text;

 

I propose that the name of the Shockwave Game Competition be changed to the Web Game Competition, or something similar with the concensus of the Black Tower.

Zyr, not that I am arguing with you because I think the name needs to be changed as well, but when things are published from Flash they are published as a .swf file which is the Shockwave suffix.
