Just found this on the BBC.

And the 22nd installment of the Bond series will be called Quantum of Solace.

Shall we muse what this means??

No problem!  ;D

And I personally thought that the last Bond film was a lot better than the tripe that was Die Another Day. As a result, I'm looking forward to the forthcoming film.

One of the things I liked about Casino Royale was the simple fact, that it was alot more 'real' and alot less 'gadgety' or 'inspector gadget' or 'batmans utility belt' as the other movies were. He still has a 'few' gadgets, but they aren't incredibally unbelievable. + It actually showed Bond was 'human' in that last one, well, Until you know until he's desensitized to the point that he just reverts to the old bond. ;)

*An example of what I mean? He has 'relations' with woman, she dies, he grieves. Old Bond movies, he has 'relations' with woman, she dies in his arms, he drops her and walks away.* ;)

Well it was showing us how Bond became like he is in future films.  I doubt we will see him grieve for another woman again as he 'learned his lesson' and will just be more colder toward them.

I know, I'm just saying is it at least showed that Bond wasn't some kinda robotic super-spy. ;)

It escentially made the movie less 'fantasy' and more 'reality'.

Kinda like the last Batman movie.

Sure, it was about batmans beginning, and he didn't have all the 'gadgets'. But it was alot more 'realistic' then say, the last 20 batman movies. Those were just plain 'silly'. I like that trend they were going on with the batman/bond movies, I hope they keep it up. ;)

Here is an article from the BBC with some more details about the 22nd installment of James Bond. As a result, I have now added a possible spoilern warning to my thread.

I agree with SD about loving the move from gadety-based movies and keeping it more realistic. :)

I saw that today, and all of a sudden I'm interested in a Bond movie, for the first time in forever.

Of course, he has only been asked, so he might decide he has more important things to do. But just the possibiliy of Pacino vs Bond...
