Packing...Packing...Stuffing...sounds like moving day

Liitha found her ways down the stairs again, it was weird, it wasnt often she was up in this section of the tower, she likely could count the number of times on her two hands. No mostly she would go to the library for books of this or that, or meet up with the Aes Sedai in the yards as they came seeking out guards or such.

Soon enough though after for the first time really noticing her surroundings and the wall hangings she exited the tower. Well out of the tower her feet picked up the pace, soon she had entered the yard and found some trainee's standing idly. She sent them down to tar valon to pick up some  boxes with orders to return to her room instantly. Meanwhile she went up to her room gathering her things on and around her bed, just as she started packing clothes into some old sadlebags and the like she heard a knock on the door, leting the trainee's in she gave them instructions on what to pack. Half an hour later it was all almost done, she had some more clothes who hadnt fit into her bag's. Taking the bag's herself she let the trainee's carry each their box and lead the way into the tower.

Not seeing Cara anywhere in sight she had the trainee's put her things in the empty room, and escorted them back out before leting them go, and then return to the room. Stoping by the office section on her way to report back as well as let her changed status be known. Then she climbed the stairs once again, with a weird feeling of melancoly entering her. Folding the left over clothes she took the bundle in her arms and looked to the side of it as she excited, the stack going to high for her to look over it.

She descided to take the cut through the yard, in part cause though many would be training, it would be less crowded then the front of the tower where petitioners would be seeking to enter or exit. She knew of a sidedoor she had used before that would allow her to enter closer to the libary then the maindoors.

Balancing her way through the yard she sudenly steped on a slipery twig, and felt herself fighting to keep her balance without leting go of her stack of clothes.

Corwin had been gone a long time...a few years.  But something kept pulling him back to the Tower.  Maybe he was to be bonded again...but he hoped not.  He didn't want to go through that again...that pain.  As he walked through the Yard, he saw the training...all the students, trying to get down their sword forms. But then there was someone else...his daughter.  Only she had fallen onto the ground.  Moving quickly behind her he simply said, "you should know better then to be in such a hurry."

In the end the law of nature won out and she fell back with the clothes going flying around her. She muttered inwardly, so much for changing earlier, the fall wasnt that dangerous, she had had her share through training. She was more worried about the laundery she had to do, and walking into the tower looking as a dog who had been rolling in the mud, as of course the reason for sliper was a muddy spot on the ground.

Brushing of her hands on her pants she was about to get up when quiet steps approached from behind and before she knew it she felt herself lifted to her feet. Turning as she heard a familiar voice, she could barely believe it, it had been ages. "Father!" Her voice was tinged with surprise, and forgeting all custom she found herself hugging him close.

He was her one remaining parent, but had been gone for some time now, yet some things wasnt easily forgoten. And thuogh they both where of the same lifepath, and such she could understand traveling and time passing, she still had missed the person who had had such an impact on her life when she first found him.

"I cant recal how long it has been, though I guess I am guilty of some traveling myself. How are you?" the clothes laying spread around the ground was forgoten for the moment.

Somehow hugging his daughter took a burden off him he didn't even know he was carrying.  Perhaps being a father brought a few burdens he didn't even know his mind was focusing on.  "It's good to see you too...  And it seems you need to clean up your laundry now as well."

Crouching down he picked up her dirty laundry and asked, "the river?"  With a nod from his daughter he took her down to help her clean it all.  "How have things been these past few years?"

Liitha was glad for the help and once ariving at the river, would start by washing her own clothes. "I've been good, some odd things has happened, and some good as well.." she smiled not fully sure where to start. "It seems the sister of my mother did make it through her testings, though dead by now, as the sole live relative i inherited her to some extent, less of what the tower had interests in of books or such. It has allowed me to buy a place outside the city to go rest at as well as keep  horses, which means i can pursue my interest in breeding when time allow me." She was stalling and knew it to find a way to word what needed to be said, she wanted him to know from her and not someone else. She spent some time describing the place while finishing up the laundry and then sat back up.

"But on to the good news" she stoped a moment and looked at Corwin "I been bonded..." she let the words hang in the air, wondering how her father would react to this with his history.

Corwin was knelt down washing one of his daughter's garments when she broke the news to him.  Pausing for a second or two, he went back to washing.  After a few moments he decided to speak, "Congradulations.  Make sure you don't loose her...."  Corwin didn't know what to really say, he had given up on much with the Tower.  He had never planned to come back, but he felt a tug...or a yearning to be back.  It didn't make sense though, he had turned his back on the Tower...he had hoped that such an action would rid the memories of Eleanor, but it didn't.  Lately she seemed to be haunting him, or atleast the memories were.

Knowing she would want more than just that for a response, Corwin put the garment down and turned to look at his daughter.  "You'll have to introduce us sometime..."  With a big grin his daughter gave him a hug yet again.  Corwin didn't know what it was, but there was something he was supposed to do here....

"I'll make sure to father..she is..." she smiled, "Cara is of the brown, and quite special.." she couldnt quite keep her emotions in check and knew undertones of her affection and love for the woman was displayed by her voice. However if there was someone she could trust it was her father, and he had experience with this sort of thing as well, might well be he would have some good advices she hadnt even thougth of yet.

"I think you'll like her" sh laid a hand on her garment, since she had washed it first it was somewhat damp by now and she put it on to help speed the progress along.

Finishing his washing as well, Corwin helped his daughter along with everything before they left the river.  It had been too long since they had spent some time together.  Grabbing her arm she spun around to see what was going on.  "It has been some time...shall we catch up tonight?"  Corwin didn't want to run her off, but he knew there were things he needed to go as well.  It was time for him to settle some deamons, he was going to deal with some memories.  He wasn't going to hang on to the past anymore...
