I registered with these forums a little while ago so I thought it was about time I posted a quick Hello and introduced myself as I dont recal doing so when I joined.

 

I've very new to the WoT series - I've been "reading" them since May this year when I got an ipod and realised you can buy audio books!  At the moment I'm about 3/4 the way through The Shadow Rising.  I'm disapointed that I've been unable to find The Path of Daggers on audiobook - but I live in hope that I'll find it - and I have a little way to go before I need to worry about it!    If I can't then I'll just have to pick up a real book and plough through that!

 

I'll probably lurk quite a bit - but post infrequently.  Everyone seems to know so much about these books - I feel a little out of my depth!

Welcome to Dragonmount! There are many places here where you don't have to know so much about the books - Fiddlesticks for example, and the Orgs to some extent. So if you feel like you don't want to lurk anymore, you know where to go.  ;)

Welcome, you are not alone on the Path of Daggers audio-book issue, I'm not sure that they have one out there for some legal reason or another... you might try to ask in the General WoT discussion, they'll have an answer for you there.

dont really have to know them much to get involved in anything...we had peoples who hadnt picked up even one of the bookds before starting to RP

lol as everyone has said, its not required to have read the books for too many things here at DM... only the book disgussions really... everything else, they'll tell you what ever you need to know ;)

As Nephi says, you don't have to have read the books, alot are only half way through. And the Reds do bite...but it's addictive ;) *snugglebites the newbie*

 

Oh and come and check out the Wolfkin we just love nature, and The Band for Music, Travel, mayhem , brawls and Brew. The Seachan are there for all you TC, Films and Games needs and addictions, so feel free to pop in.
