Where to start my RPing...

Hmmm... Where do I start my RPing... James! Gimme some ideas. :P

You might get more replies and ideas if you targeted this also to others than just James :)

 

You could always start a few open threads in WY and Tar Valon and see who joins. If you wait for a bit, James should get started with the party thread for Aran (his TG) and Rosheen (Silhouette's TG) and other mates. This is set back in timeline to good olde days, so like 8 years before current time in Main Plotline.

 

Other than that... your own WS threads usually require some socialisation with other characters so they give some ideas.

and it depends on whether you're picking up your old character again, or if you're starting with a new one. If you're returning with your old one, you could always visit the current Commander of the Guard, Brand Ryota, for a chat about how you're going to fit into the system again.

 

Should you be interested in such an rp, I happen to know exactly where Brand's handler hangs out most of the time... Except when I'm sleeping. I mean, I usually go to bed in one place and wake up in the same place, but I'll never be 100% certain if I stay there in the meantime :p

Hmmmm... Actually that might work well. I still want to try and get into the Kandor RP to do Shoar's return, so if we set that one to occur after this one, that'll work...

geez dude you think we are that strict?  Usually it's okay to post about how you got to the yards in the yards lol even if it wasn't in the yards.  Particularly if you were the only one posting in Tar Valon and just getting someplace, for all that matters you could have posted your whole journey in the Yards as a "story" leading up to you first encounter with someone in the yards there...
