Sipping a Quiet Cup of Earl Grey

I have not been around much for many months now and for that I offer my apologies to you all. It was not my intention to slight the Kin nor to lose touch with those of you I may call friend. It has been a long few months and things are as they always are though the light will sometimes shine even into the darkness.

Much of my time has been spent thinking, studying and pondering the nature of all that is. Though my thoughts often spin around and around as I fight myself and those things which I need to do. Perhaps the time has come to return, yes?  Perhaps I will sit here and sip my tea thinking about the nature of the universe and my place within it. That is if any of this is even real or just temporarily here between the flashes of electricity within my brain.

But that is for another time.

*sips his tea and looks off in thought*

*laughs* It's nice to see you, SunDae. Even if it's sipping English tea and pondering thoughts WAY too deep for this dratted heat. ;)

*finishes the blueberry tea, then shrugs and pours out a some fresh cups of EG* Of course m'dear. Always have a cup for friends.

It's so good to have you here!  *grins*  Complete with tea and a cozy feel and of course those wonderful deep thoughts to ponder and mull about!

 

*pokes Danya, peeking over her shoulder*  Umm..any of those yummy blueberry muffins?

*groans* ya'll are going to make me wish I hadn't mailed all my tea to my sister, aren't you? *mutters* I'm not going to know what to drink first in March... Carolan's or Tension Tamer... *sighs*

I just can't touch herbal teas until after my baby days are over and that includes 6 months of feeding. *sighs* Pina colada sounds good right now, too... heavy on the rum, of course...

You know, LordDaemonDraecos, I don’t know you well but since you first posted your philosophical thoughts, I too have been pondering the nature of the universe and your place within it.  And then it struck me . . . your place within it is here!

 

*nods in satisfaction and resumes sipping tea*

You said the whole full name? wow.....most just call me Dae or there was a time I was LDD, but just daemon or dracos will work just fine.

mud pit? I think i vaugely remember it. it was the heated, clothing optional one right?

 

I'll have to remember to try it out again one of these days. And I am sorry bout that Lor. I'll try not to reminisce too much about all the sweat teas they offer, nor the cast iron teapots and other accesories.

 

Now lets see...deep thought of the day...well maybe not too deep.

 

That which is of greatest value can only be measured by ones own mind, works and ones own opinion. That of any other does not matter in regards to you. Only that which is most precious to you and how you act in regards to that which is of greatest value.

Lor, why can't you drink herbal tea?  Most of the herb tea things are in other stuff, too.  Do you not eat peaches, or raspberries, or mint?  I never heard of banning herb tea before.  Enquiring minds...

Nah, the dr said it was because there's no way to calculate how much of the herbs are being consumed. If I knew I was ingesting X mL of echinecea, then I could probably have gotten away with it.

 

That is, until I read the article in Parents magazine this month that links some herbs to birth defects and behavioral problems in children. You can check it out HERE. It's actually dealing with herbal remedies and there are quite a few other articles there on the side effects some of the herbs have on the fetus. *shrugs* Since the teas I love the most have echinecea and ginseng.... *sighs* I'm sworn off of them until I'm finished nursing Peanut.
