For one of my classes as an Aiel i need to Rp with someone about owing or recieving Toh. I don't have any ideas off the top of my head, but i was wondering if anyone else might, maybe npc a fellow maiden or a wise one where talbs accidently steps on her toes. i'm not familiar enough with the Aiel yet to have a 'good' idea, but i'm up for anything.

*is strying to pick the books up again and get bacst book 4 so she can uderstand the Aiel better...*

i was patiently waiting to see if someone else would volunteer, but since no one will take the bait...i'm all yours! as long as i'm not on the short end of a game of Maiden's Kiss anyway... :P what do you want me to do?

doesnt have to be "getting in trouble" ;) Maidens in particular are touchy about their honor...

1) during a raid Talbs accidentily brushes up against a gaishain or WO or blacksmith - this might make her feel she has toh toward them since they aren't to be touched in the dance

2) perhaps the Maidens are teasing a warrior and Talbs goes a bit too far, slight toh

3) water is somehow wasted (accidentally or even in tears) this might mean toh toward the entire hold or to her spear sisters who saw her cry

stuff like that, the Aiel can twist anything they feel like into toh ;)

as our Wisest One said, Maidens are very touchy, at least according to the books. so i'd utilize one of her excellent suggestions.

or you could somehow incur toh in your Maiden training... i seem to recall that the first bit of handtalk a new Maiden learns is the gesture for "i have toh" because they have to use it so much. just a thought. :) and the offer still stands for any help you might need.

as far as I know there's no mention in the books of tears being considered a gift?
