The making of a sister

I been at DM for what 2.5 years, and known her about half that time, thoug it feels like longer. We soon became good friends and realised we had much in comon, much to talk about and gigle girlishly about. That we felt comfortable around eachother, and came to trust eachother. Its someone i can talk to about anything online, and then meeting her real life realising i am just as relaxed and comfortable in her present.

 

So we are twins in spirit, and though its been at my mind some time i havent goten around to really ask her to do this. And yes i know some migth wonder why here as we dont have a tradition not since i joined to do this down in the rp section, yet this where we both have more friends and stronger conections so it sort of feel like the rigth place to do it.

 

"Embraces Lara" In so many ways i view you as a sister and hence why i asked to sort of formalice it on DM, just to share what we both know with our friends. Hm so while writing this i wondered how to do this a lil sermonial as well. Takes out ribon and ties wrist togheter then cuts both palms, and lets blood mix. As see i came to think of the books i am curently reading as well as other fantasy books where the typical way of taking new relatives been symbolised by sharing blood. *hugs again*

I've been at DM for a fair old while now and have found so many close sisters and brothers among the people I've encountered in my time here. Ata is one of the ones I've always been the closest to, and I can talk to her about anything that's on my mind - absolutely anything. I have a real life twin sister, and I can assure you that I am practically as close to Ata as I am to my real life sis. Almost since I came to DM, I've spoken to Ata.

 

Having met Ata last week, I realised we were as close in real life as we were online. I predominantly write now, but I am a part of the Dragonmount Community as well. I know our new characters will reflect that bond as well, but for now I'm just going to enjoy my new sister. *embraces* Let this symbolise our friendship.

 

The distance will not separate us

Nor time lend degradations

The Wheel saw fit to weave us

In sisterly relations

Having met both of you in real life I have to tell the rest of DM that you are both incredibly lovely people. Not just online, but in real life, too. I am so happy for you both and sincerely hope that we'll all stay in touch until we are too frail to pick up the keyboard, pen or telephone, by which time we'll hopefully have mastered the art of telepathy!
