Two Rivers = Mesopotamia

There seems to be a lot of hidden references to some pretty interesting topics concerning that of the The 12th Planet by Z. Sitchin. Battles in the clouds like the Olden Gods in their ships and the Two Rivers being a possible refence to Mesopotamia, the birthplace of the new colonies of Mankind and "Gods" or the Anunnaki, "those who from Heaven came to Earth" and naming Ba'alzamon in close relation to Ba'al Zaphon and Ba'al Hammon?
