I wonder if this will be as disappointing as the Encyclopedia.

The Encyclopedia is good for keeping facts straight.  Where was a specific character encountered, what were the former, current and/or recycled names of Forsaken, etc.  But was so disappointed when it didn't have new information - i.e. details on the Aiel warrior socieites, even just a paragraph.

Will definitely wait for reviews before purchasing.

I’m most of the way through the book. One surprise was the lack of ‘Eastern’ influence. There is some, but thought there’d be more.   Unscientific guesstimate would put influences at 90+ percent western. Irish, British, European with a decent amount of middle eastern. What do you all think?
