Poetry Duel - (Game)

The purpose of the Poetry Duel is to build a poem, one line at a time. Much like stories. However, there are rules!

1) The start of the Poem is determined by the person who finishes a poem.

2) You can not finish the Poem you start. (Exception is if a Poem sits for more than 5 days).

3) Claim the Type of poem! (Lymeric, sonnet, free verse) and now many lines until it is complete.

4) Be creative and have fun. There is no wrong line in Poetry!

Need help on deciding on a poem time? This one is simple! Feel free to search out others!

MY START! ? Let's start with a simple Limerick!

Smothers knaves with a decree
A knee you shall bend
and with glee they mend
Though how well they mend no one can guarantee.

I believe you're supposed to pick the next type of poem, and/or maybe the next line?

O mighty man, tall on the field you stood,
no sword in hand and yet men below yield
for he wielded the wyrmwood;
no axe or weapon slashing; a shield

of molten rage, a blade of frozen hate
upon thy shoulders sat a mantle of orange
