Elder_Haman - Patron Supporter Share Posted March 10 WoT Up! has a new video out. In it, he discloses that foreign language tracks for the trailer will be recorded on April 22. Since these tracks are the last thing added, it is reasonable to assume that the trailer will be released within a couple of weeks of that date. The rest of the video contains some interesting speculation about what the trailer release means for release of the final product. In the video, Jon uses the Witcher and Game of Thrones as reference points before speculating about a December release. I'll note that Amazon tends to have a much shorter interval between trailer and release date - in most cases no longer than 60 days. Regardless, this is great news and the first concrete information to date about the state of production! What do y'all think?
mistborn82 - Member Share Posted March 10 A June trailer would be awesome, especially because it'll likely give us our first view of trollocs, probably loial and obviously the main cast.
Elder_Haman - Patron Supporter Author Share Posted March 10 I think trailer in May, show in June.
king of nowhere - Member Share Posted March 10 that's great news, if confirmed. i wonder if we're getting more teasers before that; it's been 3 weeks already since the latest release

Thrasymachus - Member Share Posted March 12 Dropping the series in June would be great, if they want it to underperform miserably. Ain't nobody gonna be wanting to stream a CW-style drama when there's bars, baseball and bbqs to get back to.

Because nobody watches TV during the summertime. 🙄

After 18+ states in the US have prematurely opened, removing mask mandates & maximum occupancy requirements, paired with less than 70% of Americans even willing to get the vaccine, further increasing the risk of it mutating and making the vaccine ineffective. So we'll see? 1 hour ago, Elder_Haman said: 3 hours ago, Thrasymachus said: Right. Because nobody watches TV during the summertime. 🙄 Right? And how many shows/movies releases scheduled for this year will be delayed? Last summer/Falls Masked Singer was filmed before Covid. We're probably lucky they filmed the season that just started. I'm expecting a new tv-series "drought" this summer. Edited March 12 by SinisterDeath
