About horses size, keep in mind that many Arabians are on the smaller side. My late gelding was about 14.1 hands when he needed a trim and had shoes on! That said, he could outwalk at 15.3 hand Thoroughbred (he had a LOOOOONG) stride.  :laugh: I haven't "sticked" my current gelding but he's probably in the 14 to 14.2 hand range. 

 

Horses are measured in "hands" where one hand = 4 inches.
