We just rewatched Alien last night.  My husband says it's one of the best sci-fi movies ever made--and his has his Masters degree in Film Studies, so I should believe him--but, while it was okay, it's not my favorite.  Not at all.

My husband wrote that one. He actually loves Aliens, but wrote about Alien.

 

Dude has a MA in Philosophy and a minor in film, but hates every film he watches.

Aliens was pretty good, as well.  I can't recall if I liked it better... but I think I did.
